Shavan (Lavan Oil Refining) on Iran Fara Bourse has risen 77.6 percent over 22 straight higher closes, from August 1 to today, Saturday, September 5, 2026, reaching a one-year high. Yet the company quarterly statement for the period ended June 21, 2026 shows net profit per share down 90 percent from a year earlier. The rally has been driven mainly by retail buying.

Transcript

Shavan shares have risen seventy seven point six percent over twenty two straight trading sessions. The stock was halted for about eighty seven sessions and reopened on the twenty third of Tir. Shavan logged its last red session on the tenth of Mordad, and the rally began the very next day. From that session to today, the price has climbed almost without a single down day. Retail investors made up more than eighty six percent of this rally's trading value. Shavan's price to earnings ratio is six point three, just below the refining sector's six point eight average. On that same last red session, the company clarified an online rumor about feedstock pricing on Codal. Yet the spring quarter statement shows net profit down ninety percent from a year earlier. Quarterly profit fell from fifteen thousand one hundred eighty two billion rial to fifteen hundred thirteen billion. If the buy queue holds, the short term trend stays positive, but a weak summer quarter would push the P/E higher. The six month filing, the buy queue, and retail money flow are the three things worth watching. Today's price is thirty eight thousand five hundred seventy rial, versus twenty two thousand one hundred at reopening. The price chart tells one story and the balance sheet tells another; a price record is not a profit record. The full analysis is on Sahmino dot com; do you think this run holds through the six month report, or reverses?
