Tehran's main stock index hit a fresh record above five point eight million points today. TEDPIX jumped two point three percent, its newest record in weeks of gains. The equal weighted index rose two point two eight percent, so the rally is broad. The free dollar stayed calm today, even as global gold and bitcoin both climbed. Today's retail and institutional flow isn't final yet, but retail bought net yesterday. Meanwhile, the Emami coin and domestic gold both got cheaper today. The coin's premium fell nearly nine percent yesterday and keeps sliding today. Among stocks, Iran Khodro, Naft Pars, Sina Cement and Naft-o-Daryoush all gained over two percent. Gains from cars to cement to oil suggest fresh money is entering the whole market. So the question now is whether this rally holds through the close, or gives some back. In the background, the Islamabad memorandum expired today without a deal. This afternoon, watch tomorrow's gold auction and the final tally of today's money flow. Today's verdict is clear. This was the bourse's day, not gold's and not the dollar's. So here's the answer to that first number. The bourse won today. Which market did you watch?
