Iran Mercantile Exchange sells over one million tonnes of cement to 4,900 buyers across 30 provinces last week

According to Kalanews, in the week ending September 11, 2026 (20 Shahrivar 1405), 4,900 buyers from 30 provinces purchased 1,121,642 tonnes of cement through the Iran Mercantile Exchange. Tehran province led purchase volumes with 105,975 tonnes, followed by Isfahan with 84,100 tonnes and Kermanshah with 67,150 tonnes, while West Azerbaijan recorded the most active buyers with 504, followed by Khuzestan with 384 and Fars with 380. Kalanews reported that listing cement on the commodity exchange has reshaped the product's distribution structure, increasing transparency and competition and giving consumers in both remote and industrial areas fairer access to the material.

Exports of flat steel products reached about 962,000 tonnes, worth close to 484 million dollars, even as the country's steel product imports fell 42 percent by weight to about 650 million dollars, of which more than 93 percent was steel sheet.

Neopan 22 Bahman raises its product prices by about 20 percent
Neopan 22 Bahman, trading under the ticker Chenopa (NEOP), raised the sale prices of its coated and plain particleboard products, according to a disclosure filed on Iran's codal system on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 (17 Shahrivar 1405), citing higher costs for raw materials and imported raw paper and a board resolution dated the same day. Per the filing, the per unit price rose from 54,211,000 rials to 65,053,000 rials, an increase of nearly 20 percent. The company said these two products accounted for 100 percent of its sales revenue in the prior fiscal year, meaning the price increase will affect the company's entire sales revenue.

Kashi Pars raises domestic product prices by 8 to 20 percent
Kashi Pars (symbol KPRS) said in a material disclosure on the Codal system that, under a board resolution dated September 6, 2026 (15 Shahrivar 1405), it is raising the sale price of its domestic products by an average of 8 to 20 percent effective from that date, to offset rising input costs driven by inflation and currency depreciation and to protect its profitability. According to the filing, published in the group B tier of material disclosures, the domestic products covered by the price increase accounted for 5.24 percent of the company's total sales revenue in the previous fiscal year.

Over 4,000 Buyers Purchased Nearly a Million Tons of Cement via Iran Mercantile Exchange in a Week
Kalanews (affiliated with the Iran Mercantile Exchange, IME) reported that in the week ending August 21, 2026 (30 Mordad 1405), 4,425 buyers from 30 provinces purchased 965,592 tons of cement through the exchange. Tehran province led purchase volume with 97,750 tons, followed by Isfahan with 65,475 tons and Khorasan Razavi with 58,695 tons, while West Azerbaijan (478 buyers), Fars (342) and Kermanshah (338) had the highest buyer counts. The report said routing cement sales through the commodity exchange has made distribution fairer and more transparent, easing access to the material for consumers in both remote and industrial areas.
